1. off color = to describe someone who looks ill

    ex : you look a little off color ，are you ok？

    ==>氣色不好

2. As an old saying goes = As old and popular saying that illustrates something suh as a practical precept

     ex : A: Have you heard？Money can really buy happiness。

             B: Yeah。I know。As an old saying goes，〝money talks〞。

    ==>俗話說

3. middle of nowhere = to describe a place that most people do not know

    ex : I am afraid i might get lost in the middle of nowhere， if  i am a little distracted。

    ==>不知名的地方。

4. to put one's foot down = someone exerts authority to prevent something from happening

    ex : Maybe i should put my foot down and force my brother to go jogging with me every day。

    ==>堅定立場/嚴格要求。

5. on the right foot= to describe someone getting off to a good start

    ex : At least you are on the right foot to teach him to beheave himeself。

    ==>好的開始。

6. out of sorts= to describe someone feeling upset and depressed

    ex : A: How's everything going？

             B: I am feeling out of  sorts。
